SUNY Oswego is seeking qualified vendors to perform abatement and disposal of all acoustic wall coverings located in the North and South elevator lobbies of Seneca Hall, covering approximately 820 square feet across multiple levels from the Basement to the 10th floor. The project involves removing existing wall coverings, which may require the removal of gypsum wallboard, and installing new gypsum sheathing to ensure a smooth, even finish for re-surfacing. The contractor will also be responsible for painting the walls to match the adjacent student lounges, with color variations depending on the location, and installing new 4-inch vinyl wall bases in affected areas. Salvaged fixtures such as corner guards and room signs are to be cleaned, stored, and reinstalled after the abatement process. The contract is set for a one-year term, with a response deadline of March 20, 2025, and is open to all NYS counties. The procurement emphasizes diversity goals, including 15% each for minority and women-owned subcontracting and 6% for service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. The project’s NAICS code is 561320, and the estimated contract value ranges from $50,000 to $150,000. The primary contact for this solicitation is Richard Merritt, available via email and phone for inquiries.
