NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT This requirement is for: Department of National Defence (DND). This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders under E60ZT-18TSPS who qualified under Tier 1 ($0 - $3.75M) under the stated consultant category, security level, region, level of expertise for the following category: Stream 5. Technical Engineering and Maintenance Services. Two (2) resources in the following Stream: • Two (2) 5.16 Life Cycle Management Specialist (LCMS) - Senior: - LCMS 1: Black and Gray Water Collection, Treatment and Distribution Systems - LCMS 2: Freshwater Production, Treatment and Distribution Equipment and Systems There is an intent to award up to a possible two (2) contract(s) for a duration of three (3) years (01 April 2024 to 31 March 2027), plus two (2) option periods of one (1) year. However, SA holders not invited to bid who wish to do so may, no later than five days prior to the published closing date of the contract, contact the contracting authority and request an invitation to bid. An invitation will be issued unless it would interfere with the proper functioning of the procurement system. Under no circumstances will Canada extend the solicitation closing date to allow these suppliers to bid. Where additional solicitations are issued as part of the solicitation process, they may not be considered in amendments to the solicitation. Description of the Requirement: This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Department of National Defence (DND) [the "Client'] for the provision of Task and Solutions Professional Services. This requirement is for the provision of two (2) 5.16 Senior (Level 3) Life Cycle Management Specialist (LCMS), to support the Directorate of Maritime Equipment Program Management Major Surface Combatant. The Contractor must support the Technical Authority (TA) in updating, maintaining, and managing, His Majesty’s Canadian (HMC) Ships’ and Submarines’ Auxiliary Equipment and Systems for all Class vessels and to provide Project Management, Technical Investigation and Engineering Support.
