The Mission of Senior Programs is to promote and enhance the physical, intellectual, social, and creative well-being of individuals 50+, to increase their quality of life. The Senior Nutrition program provides approximately 212,000 lunch meals and 118,000 breakfast meals to seniors aged 60 and older over a twelve (12)-month period. The program operates three (3) production kitchens and two (2) catered meal sites. The same lunch meal is served at all five (5) community dining sites and delivered through the Home Delivered Meals program along with a ready-to-eat breakfast for the next day. Sources of funding include federal grants, state grants, City funds, and revenue generated from participant donations.
