AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the supply of oxygen monitoring sensors designed for anesthesia and respiratory use, specifically galvanic, snap-on types. These sensors are to be delivered in sealed, ready-to-use packaging that fits the designated end item. They must be commercial-grade packaged, ensuring protection against damage during shipment, and conform to medical marking standards as outlined in Medical Marking Standard No. 1. The packaging must meet specified commercial and export requirements to guarantee safe delivery at the lowest transportation cost to the U.S. Department of Defense facility at Camp Lejeune within 20 days of order. The sensors have a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months and must comply with specific technical and quality standards referenced in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) master list. The contract requires the removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies and mandates bidders to specify the source and part number of the products offered. The procurement references NSN 6515-01-440-9394 and the purchase request calls for four units under solicitation number SPE2DS-26-T-8711, with Patrick Esposito as the primary point of contact. The contract is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain MD Surg FSF office, and all provisions ensure compliance with DLA packaging and acquisition guidelines.
