AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation seeks six reusable adult finger clip pulse oximeter sensors, identified by NSN 6515-01-418-9203 and compatible with existing pulse oximeter models bearing NSNs 6515-01-418-9022, 6515-01-386-9159, and 6515-01-386-2978. These supplies are destined for delivery to Cannon AFB, New Mexico, with a required delivery timeframe of 20 days after order award. Packaging must adhere to commercial standards as outlined in the procurement document, with each unit sealed in a protective container capable of safeguarding against damage or breakage, and all units packed in appropriate exterior shipping containers suitable for safe transport by common carrier at the lowest cost, including export packaging when needed. All medical items must be marked in strict compliance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1 (MMS No. 1), which supersedes MIL-STD-129 for this acquisition; references to MIL-STD-2073-1E govern preservation and packaging methodology, with Special Packaging Instruction MPACE00001 applying. The contract includes a suite of FAR and DFARS clauses mandating cybersecurity compliance under NIST SP 800-171, requiring contractors to conduct a self-assessment and report results through the Supplier Performance Risk System, with flow-down obligations to all subcontractors. The prohibition on acquiring covered defense telecommunications equipment from restricted foreign entities applies across the supply chain. All offers must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the deadline of May 18, 2026, and must include current Unique Entity Identifier and CAGE code information. Acceptance of supplies is the responsibility of the Government at the delivery point, with inspection criteria rooted in MMS No. 1, MIL-STD-2073-1E, and FAR 52.246-2. Invoicing must be processed exclusively through the Wide Area Workflow system, and all contractors are subject to safeguards for covered defense information and mandatory cyber incident reporting within 72 hours. Contract type and pricing details remain unpopulated in the solicitation, indicating possible award through a lowest price technically acceptable process, though no formal evaluation factors or weights are disclosed.
