Sole Source FBO Notice for Procurement Request 000HCCCC-2019-29213 Service Agreement for the Hitachi S-4800-I Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD), Morgantown, WV intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc., 1375 N 28th Ave, Dallas, TX 75261 for a one year service agreement on the Hitachi S-4800-I Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope, Serial Number 9035-06. CLIN 0001: Part # C-539-9035, Service Agreement for one year with invoicing to be done quarterly in arrears. One Each. CLIN 0002: Part # C-539-9807, RS-232C Communication Interfac. One Each. This contract action is for a services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C 3304(a) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
