La Ville désire s’adjoindre les services professionnels d'une firme de consultants en foresterie urbaine pour finaliser l’inventaire de ses arbres municipaux hors boisé, incluant l’identification de l’espèce et l’évaluation de leur état de santé général, dans le but d’identifier ses secteurs de vulnérabilité de la forêt urbaine et de mieux orienter et prioriser ses actions en matière d’arboriculture. L’inventaire couvrira les arbres de propriété municipale situés sur des terrains municipaux bâtis, en bordure de rue, en bande riveraine, en parc ou sur un espace vert, et ce, sur l’entièreté du territoire de la Ville de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Dans le but d’établir un diagnostic précis de l’état de santé de la forêt urbaine, le présent contrat comprend l’ensemble des arbres publics hors boisé qui n’ont pas encore été inventoriés ou dont l’état de santé est inconnu, soit environ quarante-deux mille (42 000) arbres. Ceux-ci devront faire l’objet d’une inspection visuelle, du pied jusqu’ à la cime sur 360° et les informations sur la localisation, l’espèce et l’état de santé devront être intégrés à la base de données de la Ville via l’application web qui sera fournie par la Ville. Les travaux d’inventaires débuteront le 1er mai 2026 et devront être complétés avant le 31 juillet 2028. Le territoire de la Ville est séparé en 5 secteurs et l’inventaire devra être réalisé et complété secteur par secteur en respectant l’ordre de priorité établi par la Ville (les secteurs sont présentés en annexe). Les soumissionnaires devront proposer un tarif unitaire par arbres, qui devra être inscrit au bordereau de prix.
