This contract seeks professional services to implement the first axis of the 2022-2032 action plan for the Trame verte et bleue métropolitaine (TVB), focusing on preserving, consolidating, and enhancing natural environments while developing their connectivity. The project consists of three main components: first, the development of a decision-support tool designed to assist regional and municipal authorities within the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec (CMQuébec) in identifying the most suitable conservation strategies based on ecological, property, and contextual characteristics of the targeted lands. Second, the practical application of this tool to assess and recommend conservation measures for specific lands within the TVB areas that hold significant conservation and connectivity value, considering current use and surrounding context. Third, the identification of acquisition opportunities for conservation purposes, conducted collaboratively with professionals from CMQuébec's regional and municipal bodies, taking into account ecological value, vulnerability, current site uses, and potential for enhancement. The solicitation is issued by the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec under the Government of Canada and is intended to be performed in the Capitale-Nationale region of Québec.
