Sewage Pumping - Vault Toilets

The National Park Service plans to award a non-competitive contract to Wolfe Marine, Inc. of Stillwater, Minnesota, for sewage pumping, processing, and disposal services at National Park Service-owned toilet facilities along the Lower St. Croix River. This includes service for over 20 prefabricated vault toilets situated near the river channel, as well as facilities on Mile Long Island. The contract also covers the seasonal placement and removal of floating restroom facilities. The contractor is considered the sole responsible source capable of meeting the government's requirements due to unique capabilities, in accordance with federal procurement regulations. The project is scheduled to commence in mid-May 2011 and continue through September 2011. This contract is set aside for small businesses under the SBA total small business set-aside program. It encompasses all necessary labor, materials, transportation, and equipment to fulfill the service requirements. While this is a sole-source award, the solicitation remains open to any responsible sources that wish to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration.
