The contract is for the procurement of two straight shaft assemblies, identified by NSN 3040-01-663-1304 and part number 81094-3S, under solicitation SPE7L3-26-T-107R. The items are magnetized material classified as HMIC-Y and must comply with stringent technical and packaging requirements referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. The contractor is required to submit a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) compliant with Federal Standard 313C, OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, and FARS/DFARS provisions, including hazard warning labels and specific identification of magnetic field strength or compass deflection. Delivery is FOB origin with zero variance allowed, inspection and acceptance occur at destination, and the items must be delivered within 168 days to the specified receiving facility in Barstow, California.
