This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017821RC610 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation as indicated in the attached SF1449. The SF1449 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Standard Procurement System. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Southwest Research Institute for the manufactured products on attached SF1449 form. SR Technologies, Inc is located in Sunrise, Florida. In order to complete an evaluation of other possible devices that may be capable of completing this mission, it would cost the Government at least $100,000.00 and six months and 1040 direct productive personnel hours (DPPH) to select new units to evaluate. Proprietary data limits competition with no authorized resellers available. The required acquisition systems are exclusive to SR Technologies, Inc.
