This small business set-aside acquisition involves the procurement of up to 400 boats for the USCG and 100 modified variants for other federal agencies. The government intends to award up to four Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a ten-year ordering period, consisting of a five-year base and a five-year option. The acquisition follows a two-phase methodology: Phase I involves the award of the IDIQ contracts based on technical and conceptual designs, and Phase II requires each awardee to build a demonstration vessel for an in-water evaluation.
