Shoulder Backing and Slope Stabilization Contractor

This subcontract involves the placement of shoulder backing and slope repairs for prime contractors on Caltrans highway projects located in Kern County, California. The scope of work focuses on repairing erosion damage to shoulders and slopes between postmile 88.8 and 89.1, as well as stabilizing these areas to prevent future erosion caused by concentrated roadway drainage. All project activities and staging are strictly confined to the Caltrans right-of-way. The primary objective of the contract is to deliver fully repaired and stabilized shoulders and slopes under the jurisdiction of Caltrans District 9 in Bishop.
