Contract Overview
Solicitation details, issuing organization, response deadlines, documents, and interested companies for this government contract opportunity.
AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base is conducting a market survey to gather information on potential vendors capable of performing on-site diagnostic services for six broken shredders located at the facility. This is not a solicitation and no contract will be awarded based on responses; the intent is solely to assess industry capabilities, pricing, and business size classifications for future planning purposes. Response details must include company information such as UEI, CAGE code, point of contact, and a clear statement of business size under the Small Business Administration’s standards, with the associated NAICS code 811210 and size threshold of $34 million. Vendors are asked to provide separate estimates for diagnostic labor and travel/trip fees for the six identified shredders—three Datastroyer 702SF models and three HSM DCS 36/6 Combo models—each with unique serial numbers. Responses must also include a brief description of relevant experience and must not exceed one page. All submissions must be submitted to Karla Vazquez at karla_lizette.vazquez_montes@us.af.mil by 10:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time on July 9, 2026. Only complete responses that address the full scope of the six shredders will be considered; partial submissions will be rejected. There is no reimbursement for costs incurred in preparing responses, and the government reserves the right to not provide feedback, request clarifications, or contact respondents. The office is located at Edwards AFB, California, and the response deadline strictly follows the specified date and time with no extensions anticipated.
