The Ministry of Child and Family Development (“MCFD”) is seeking qualified Service Providers to deliver Respite Care services (“RC Services”) to children and youth. Respite Care Services are a family preservation service that provide a culturally safe, developmentally appropriate and structured environment outside of the primary living arrangement for children and youth with varying complex needs. The RC Services are part of a support plan to maintain a child/youth’s living arrangement within the family and/or prevent children/youth from coming Into Care, and are intended for various service recipients. Subject to MCFD program needs and priorities, Service Providers who meet the Province’s requirements under this CFR may be invited to finalize a service contract with the Director.There will be a Respondents meeting held via Teams at 10:00 a.m. PST, March 14, 2023. Please see section 4.24 of the CFR for details.
