SHSS - Emergency Care Services

The Ministry of Child and Family Development is seeking qualified service providers to deliver Emergency Care Services for children and youth. These services provide short-term placements of up to 30 days for individuals who cannot safely remain with their families or in other out-of-care arrangements, including those removed by the Director or those experiencing placement breakdowns. These services act as an urgent safe landing place when no other appropriate care options are readily available and less intrusive options have been exhausted. This solicitation, identified by number BC159056, is open for responses until February 28, 2033. Service providers who meet the provincial requirements and align with the program's needs and priorities may be invited to finalize a contract with the Director.
