SiAW Subsystem Development IDIQ

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation was awarded an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, number FA8659-26-D-B001, to provide subsystem-specific support for the Stand-in Attack Weapon (SiAW) program. Managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate, the contract has a ceiling of 100,000,000 dollars and utilizes a combination of Cost Reimbursement and Fixed Price contract types. The scope of work includes science and technology development, research and development, test and evaluation support, and systems engineering and integration. Key objectives focus on addressing obsolescence, enhancing cybersecurity, and implementing product improvements under Middle Tier Acquisition Rapid Prototyping authority. The period of performance begins from the date of award and runs through December 3, 2026, with eight additional option ordering periods extending the contract through December 31, 2034. Work will be performed in Baltimore, Maryland. This was a sole-source award based on Northrop Grumman's unique technical capabilities, security posture, and ability to comply with the Weapon Open System Architecture (WOSA) standards and the SiAW Government Reference Architecture. A critical requirement of the contract is the delivery of form, fit, and function data with unlimited rights to the government, as mandated by DFARS and federal law.
