--Sig Sauer Pistols for OLE

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife, Office of Law Enforcement, (USFWS/OLE) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis with Sig Sauer Inc. under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award is anticipated to be made NLT 3/11/2016. The USFWS/OLE will be providing 24 new Special Agents with the Sig Sauer P229 DAK, 40 caliber pistol as a primary firearm. The Sig Sauer pistol in the model P229 DAKs are authorized by the Chief, Office of Law Enforcement under Chiefs Directive CD-B1(Rev. 1), dated January 22, 2015, and is required to be purchased directly from the manufacturer. 24 each of PN# WE29R-40-BSS-DAK-SP (P229, 40 S&W, 3.9IN, NITRON, BLK, DAK, SIGLITE, (3) 12RD STEEL MAG 2 PIECE GRIP) Delivery will be within 180 days ARO The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 1005, Guns through 30 mm. The applicable NAICS is 332994 Small Arms, Ordinance, and Ordnance Accessories Manufacturing. This is not a competitive solicitation and quotes are not being requested, however, any responsible contractor capable of meeting the requirement may submit technical and past performance data sufficient to determine capability. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future acquisitions.
