No partial documents will be issued. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the INTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. No prospective CONTRACTOR may withdraw his proposal within SIXTY (60) DAYS after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bidder shall write the Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi Contractors License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed and deposited with the Chancery Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above. The SIMPSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County, or to reject any or all bids.
