Full Description

The Forest Service Southwestern Region (R3) intends to negotiate and awarard a sole source contract with SIMTABLE.COM, LLC, 1600 Lena St Office D1, Santa Fe, NM 87505. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 541511. Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition: 1. FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and NO Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Simtable System includes the following: Active Perception Projector/Camera Pair Processor, dedicated to computer and sand table platform with sand. Would also include Pan and Zoom capablities, Tactical Fire Fighting Resources, Ownership Layers and the ability to manipulate multiple views from a remote device like a tablet or smart phone. This is a standalone wildland fire modeling simulator that uses advanced computer simulations to model fire spread in different areas affected by various inputs and models initial attached methods. the simulator tool willbe used primarily for public and community outreach with our partners and training wildland firefighters and after action reviews/lessons learned. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A solicitation document is not available and telephone requests for copy of the solicitation will not be honored. Any responses to this motice must show clear and convincing evidence that a pometition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination to compete this requirement is at the sole discretion of the Government. Alll interested parties must experess their interest and submit a capability statement via email to melucero@fs.fed.us by 3:00 pm Mountain Time on August 17, 20016. Information received will be for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
