Full Description

TWO PHASE SELECTION PROCESSThis is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. Scope:- Mobilization to site.- Installation and maintenance of environmental controls required to complete the work.- Removal and disposal of the existing concrete skidway and timber skids.- Excavation and grading as required to facilitate construction of the new skidway.- Placement of C5 Clear Stone material for installation of the new skidway.- Installation of precast concrete panels.- Pouring and curing the new reinforced concrete skidway.- Installation of C1 Clear Stone and 300mm Armour Stone around the base and sides of the new skidway for scour protection.- Installation of new transverse timber/UHMW-PE skids.- Disposal of excess fills offsite.- Site cleanup.- Removal of environmental controls.- Demobilization from the site..The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by March 31, 2023.
