Skyline College Athletics Branding

The San Mateo County Community College District is seeking a qualified branding and design agency to evaluate and strengthen the visual identity of the Skyline College Athletics program. The primary objective is to create a cohesive branding approach that aligns the identities of eight individual athletic teams with the broader Skyline College brand. The selected agency will conduct a comprehensive brand assessment of logos, monikers, colors, and typography, develop overarching branding standards for use across various media and apparel, and perform the refinement or redesign of visual identities for up to three specific athletic teams. This is an informal RFP with a response deadline of November 10, 2026, and the District intends to award a six-month agreement. Proposals are evaluated based on firm experience, project approach, and compliance with the specified format. The contract is governed by a Standard Services Agreement which mandates strict adherence to California labor laws, including prevailing wage requirements for agreements exceeding 1,000 dollars and DIR registration. Key requirements include comprehensive insurance coverage, including professional liability and general liability, and a commitment to Section 508 accessibility standards. All developed property will become the sole property of the District.
