The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is organizing a virtual Small Business Roundtable on May 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time, hosted by the Office of Small Business Programs. This event is exclusively for small businesses and aims to provide attendees with an overview of what to expect at SOF Week, along with tips to maximize their participation. Participation is limited to 300 individuals, and USSOCOM encourages a diverse mix of socio-economic categories, industries, and geographic locations. Due to high interest, a limit may be placed on the number of participants per firm. Interested firms must submit an invitation request by 8:00 AM local time on April 25, 2026, through the provided link, with selections notified by May 2. Selection criteria include socio-economic status, the products and services offered, experience with USSOCOM, prior attendance, timeliness of request, and firm location. Intent of these meetings:  These roundtables are intended to be an opportunity for firms to gain a general overview of the specific PEO or directorate participating.  These roundtables are not meant to be an opportunity for firms to present their capabilities to USSOCOM, or to receive a forecast of upcoming requirements.

USSOCOM would like to have participation from all socio-economic categories and a variety of industries.  Space is limited to 300 individuals

Due to the expected interest in this event, we may limit the number of participants per firm that attend this session.

Even if you requested an invitation to a previous roundtable but were not selected to attend, you must submit a new request in order to be considered for this roundtable.

The criteria considered when selecting attendees (in no particular order and not listed in order of importance)

- Socioeconomic status (we would like representation from each socioeconomic category (SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, VOSB, and SDVOSB)

- Products and/or services provided (we lean more towards firms that provide what we buy, but want a variety of industries represented)

- Experience with USSOCOM (we would like a mix of experienced and inexperienced firms)

- The last time your firm has attended a SB Roundtable (we want to afford all firms an opportunity to attend a roundtable)

- When your request to attend was received; and

- Where your firm is located (we would like a mix of local and non-local firms). Responses are due by 8:00:00 AM local time on 4/25/2026. Invitations for those selected to attend will be sent out no later than close of business on 5/2/2026.  You may still submit a response after the due date.  However, late submissions will be accommodated on a space available basis.

Acquisition Support Services Contract (ASSC) for all FAA Acquisition and Contracting Organizations
Solicitation # 6973GH-25-SS-00002
The FAA is seeking to consolidate its acquisition support services under a single decentralized ordering contract titled the Acquisition Support Services Contract (ASSC) for all FAA Acquisition and Contracting Organizations, with solicitation number 6973GH-25-SS-00002. This contract will provide qualified personnel to support six AAQ divisions—AAQ-200, 300, 400, 500, 600, and 700—with skills equivalent to OPM 1102, 0500, and 0343 series civil service roles ranging from GS-5 to GS-14, performing non-personal services such as contract specialist duties, financial management, and contract administration. The anticipated contract structure is a five-year ordering period with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) as the primary pricing mechanism for full-time equivalent personnel, supplemented by a minor Labor Hours (LH) component not exceeding 5% of total contract value to accommodate transitional or surge needs. Performance may be conducted at FAA facilities in Washington D.C., Fort Worth, TX, Atlanta, GA, or remotely, as determined by individual AAQ organizations. The contract explicitly prohibits contractor employees from performing inherently governmental functions such as obligating funds or executing modifications. The FAA is considering a competitive award strategy that prioritizes past performance slightly over price, while also exploring annual adjustments tied to the Total Increase in the General Schedule (GS) salary tables for geographic location, intended to mitigate economic risk without requiring post-award renegotiation. These adjustments would be algorithmically calculated using publicly available OPM data, applied consistently across in-office and remote work locations, to ensure fair and transparent economic balancing throughout the contract term. The FAA is actively seeking industry feedback on this pricing strategy and alternatives that ensure unilateral exercise of all option periods, while also welcoming input on reducing administrative burdens. Proposals, due by October 1, 2026, must include a Project Management Plan with an Integrated Master Schedule and Organization Chart, a detailed Staffing Plan covering recruitment, training, retention, and subcontractor management, and a Quality Control Plan to be submitted within 45 days after award. Invoicing must occur within five or thirty days of month-end, track costs at the CLIN and task level, and be approved by both the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative, with all deliverables subject to government acceptance and surveillance through file reviews, inspections, and performance metrics.
