The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), will be hosting a Vendor Outreach Session (VOS) located in Washington, DC, on March 26, 2020, from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm. The VOS is at Homeland Security Acquisition Institute (HSAI) located at 90 K Street NE, Suite 1200, Washington, DC 20002. Vendor Outreach Sessions are a series of pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Small Business Specialists from various components of the Homeland Security procurement offices. These sessions provide the small business community an opportunity to discuss their capabilities and learn of potential procurement opportunities. Also, in attendance will be Prime Contractor Small Business Liaisons from several of the large businesses who have contracts with DHS. There is no cost to the small business vendors. This reserved session is for Woman-Owned Small Businesses ONLY in honor of Women�s History Month. Sign up for the March 26th Vendor Outreach Session will be on March 19, 2020, beginning at 12:00 noon, Eastern Time. Please read the instructions carefully as the sessions fill up quickly. Individuals must register their companies ahead of time and choose a password for speed in signing up the day of registration. Companies are to register at https://vos.mybusinessmatches.com/. There are several hotels close to HSAI. There are also several parking garages, parking lots, and metered street parking in the area. The two Metro Stations close to HSAI are Union Station (the closest) and NoMa � Gallaudet U (New York Avenue). NOTE: Walking directions to HSAI from Union Station Metro Stop (Red Line) are as follows: Exit Station through the Massachusetts Ave. NE & 1st St. NE exit Make a sharp right exiting from the Metro Station Walk ahead three blocks 90 K ST NE is on the right Please see www.wmata.com for more information. To enter the 90 K Street N.E. building, you must have a federal government employee identification card, OR a current government issued photo ID card (driver�s license or state issued ID). Building security receives the name(s) for all VOS attendees 48 hours prior to VOS, which will prohibit last-minute substitutes. All items entering the building may be subject to scanning and search as applicable. In the event the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issues the Federal Government a delayed opening of 2 hours or more or the Government is closed in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, the March 26, 2020, VOS will be cancelled. On the morning of the event, please visit www.opm.gov.
