Amendment of initial notice: The date of this sources sought notice is extended to 10 May 2024. Responses are requested with the following information: 1.Contractor's name, address, points of contact with telephone numbers and e-mailaddresses. 2.Experience with small construction, repair and renovation, approximately $1,000,000.00-$4,000,000.00, although there are possibilities for projects under or o er this amount. Services sought are general construction and renovation, including but not limited to roofing; floors; walls; painting; electrical; plumbing; security equipment installation and programming; kitchen and mechanical equipment; and landscaping. Offeror's bonding capability (construction bonding level per contract/projectand aggregate construction bonding level, both expressed in dollars). Minor construction,incidental to the Gallery mission, requires bonding. 3.Documentation should be submitted with the following considerations: a.Describe your capability and experience to provide services for small construction projects. Minor construction and repairs incidental to the Gallery is required. b.Capability to provide construction services in a public acing location, such as a muesum. c.Capability to perform in Washington, DC. ~~~ Name of Project: Small construction, repair and renovation indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) projects solicitation/contract. Brief description of services - the National Gallery of Art is searching for experienced construction contractors interested in providing services to include the repair and renovation of existing property, as well as new construction projects. Disclosure of the order of magnitude of the construction a project will be stated on each individual task order (TO) and may be between (a) Less than $25,000, (b) between $25,000 and $100,000, (c) between $100,000 and $250,000, (d) between $250,000 and $500,000, (e) between $500,000 and $1,000,000, (f) between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The proposed contract vehicle is the IDIQ. Award is anticipated to be made to between one (1) and three (3) contractors. The projects will be awarded using task orders placed against the IDIQ. The potential IDIQ award will comprise of one (1) base year, and four (4), one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the National Gallery of Art. The contractor will be responsible for providing all facilities, equipment, materials, and services to perform the requirements of a potential contract/task order. The Contractor will furnish new parts and components in the performance of work as described herein. All replacement units, parts, components, and materials to be used in the repair and/or alteration of systems, equipment, and utilities included herein will be compatible with the equipment on which it is to be used; will be of equal or better quality than original equipment specifications; will conform to the technical specifications and included in the order; and will be used in accordance with original design and manufacturer intent. Items not listed in the technical specifications will be of acceptable industrial grade and quality. If the original manufacturer has updated the quality of parts for current production, parts supplied under this contract will be equal to or exceed the quality of the updated parts. This notice and submission of interest by any contractor will not commit the National Gallery of Art to an award and preserves the right for the National Gallery of Art not to pursue the source sought notification beyond this announcement.
