The purpose of this modification is to: 1) Correct the quantity and title of this requirement. 2) Provide responses to questions received in response to this RFQ. The title of this requirement is hereby revised to SMALL 3 Wavelength Laser. The quantity has been revised from three to ONE. Question 1: I understand that it says flashlamp pumped, can this laser be diode pumped? Answer: Yes, it can be flashlamp pumped if other specs are also met. Question 2: What is the beam quality? Can it be 10 times diffraction limited? Answer: No it must be near diffraction limited. M^2 less than 2. Question 3: What is the pulsewidth? Answer: Less than 10 ns. Question 4: What is the accepted delivery time? Answer: 2-3 months. Question 5: Can this laser be a developmental laser or NASA is looking to buy an off the shelf commercial item. Answer: We want a commercial product with a history of reliability. That is the reason for the >= 2 year warranty spec. The due date for response has not been extended.
