The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement HS002122A0002 to Carahsoft Technologies Corp on August 11, 2022, for Smartsheet licenses and incidental services. Placed against GSA Schedule GS-35F-0119Y with Firm-Fixed Price CLINs, the agreement provides Smartsheet Gov software licenses, control center blueprints, and technical support. These tools are intended to facilitate centralized task tracking and project management in alignment with the agency's strategic plan for FY 2022-2027. The contract was established on a limited source basis because Carahsoft is identified as the only source capable of providing the highly specialized supplies and services required. This includes a sole source line item for a Smartsheet Technical Account Manager to provide platform optimization, security administration, and specialized customer support for network integration. These actions were authorized under FAR 8.405-6, FAR 13.501, and FAR 6.302-1, citing the unique capabilities of the software and the vendor's status as the only verified reseller meeting the agency's technical requirements.
