The NYC Housing Authority (NYCHA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking Architecture and Engineering (A/E) firms to provide inspection and reporting services aligned with regulatory requirements, primarily focusing on façade inspections under the FISP Cycle 10 (formerly Local Law 11). In addition to façade inspections, the selected consultants may be engaged for a range of related professional services, including registered design professional services for façade and roof repairs, parking structure inspections (Local Law 126), retaining wall inspections (Local Law 37), and other necessary A/E inspection services as required by NYCHA. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the iSupplier platform by December 4, 2024, with an anticipated contract award around March 2025. A non-mandatory online Proposers’ Conference will be held on November 6, 2024, to provide additional information and answer questions. Firms interested in the Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program may seek a waiver by submitting the required application by November 21, 2024. It is crucial for proposers to complete iSupplier registration in advance to ensure timely submission, as late or incomplete proposals will not be considered. The RFP documents are available on NYCHA’s website, and NYCHA has emphasized that proposals must be submitted as a single PDF file with no embedded or proprietary documents; submissions by email, fax, or mail are not accepted. All deadlines and meeting times referenced are in Eastern Standard Time.
