The SNL FINANCIAL LCC Annual Renewal The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) intends to purchase a sole source subscription with SNL FINANCIAL LCC (SNL). The proposed effort will provide the FCC's library with an online Subscription to SNL. The publications we have purchased cover a wide range of communications industry data and topics, including media, the cable industry, programming networks for financial and investment statistics, wireless services, broadband, digital television and direct broadcast satellite services. While a primary source of information for the Media Bureau, the data included in these publications also are used by the Office of Strategic Planning, Wireless, and Enforcement Bureaus. The period of performance for this effort is one base year beginning 09/20/2016 thru 05/31/2017. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. The authority for negotiating a sole source basis is made under 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1 which permits soliciting from a single source, if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 519190. Any challenges to this sole source requirement must be received by 05/28/2016, NO later than 09:00am Washington D.C. local time, in writing, and sent to Beverly.Howell@fcc.gov in order to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government's needs as stated herein.
