THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CORRECT THE NAICS CODE TO 541380 WITH THE SIZE STANDARD OF $12 MILLION, AND ALSO EXTEND THE DUE DATE FOR RESPONSES TO 9/5/2008 10:00 AM CST. The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) intends to procure services for surface soil sampling for Potato Cyst Nematode (PCN). The duration of these services will be for a one-year base contract (2008) with four option years (2009-2012) for a maximum contract length of five years. These samples will be collected from selected potato fields in North Dakota based on priority. The USDA intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contacts for this effort based on priority need and required completion prior to early winter conditions that could prevent completion due to in-climate weather conditions. The Contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, vehicles, ATV, supervision, transportation and incidentals in accordance with the technical specifications. The collection and drop off of samples services will be through December 31 of each calendar year. This is being offered as a total small business set-aside. This will be best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) AG-6395-S-08-0115, will be released on or about August 13, 2008 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website.
