GPS Survey Equipment and Related Accessories
Solicitation # FA491126QM005
Solicitation FA491126QM005 is a Request for Quotation issued by the Department of the Air Force, Air Force Central Command, 378th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron, for the procurement of GPS survey equipment and related accessories. This is a brand-name only requirement for Trimble equipment, including GNSS rover kits, robotic total stations, and scanners, to support infrastructure mapping, airfield operations, and expeditionary construction. The procurement is conducted under FAR Parts 12 and 13, with an emphasis on technical acceptability and the lowest price. Quotes must be submitted by December 29, 2025, and must remain valid for 60 calendar days. The contract requires shipping via FOB Destination, with items sent from the US directed to Dover AFB using DD 1149 and military shipping labels. All shipping charges must be included in the price proposal. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the government, following a process where the lowest-priced offer is first evaluated for technical compliance. Administrative requirements include the use of Wide Area Workflow for electronic invoicing and strict adherence to base access protocols for personnel requiring entry to government installations. The broader acquisition strategy for this equipment class is estimated at approximately 69.5 million dollars over a seven-year period from 2025 to 2031.
