This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N00164-13-C-JS13. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, intends to modify the existing firm-fixed-price, supply-type contract N00164-13-C-JS13, awarded to SUNAIR ELECTRONICS, 200 S. ANDREWS AVE. #7B, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312, CAGE 12338, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) for the procurement of additional hardware for the AN/TSQ-269 Mobile Tactical Air Operations Module (MTAOM) Systems. The total maximum dollar value of $1,044,727.20 will increase by an estimated $650,000.00 as a result of this modification. The required supplies are as follows: CLIN 0015 - P/N 8120001052 - CU-9150 ANTENNA COUPLER - QTY 30 EACH CLIN 0016 - P/N 8092500096 - CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY - QTY 30 EACH CLIN 0017 - P/N 0588680001 - CONTROL CABLE - QTY 3000 FEET CLIN 0018 - CU-9150 Extended Warranty - QTY 30 EACH Delivery terms are 180 days after effective date of order with F.O.B: Origin, Inspection and Acceptance: Destination. This contract action will be conducted on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The basis for restricting competition is that Sunair is the original equipment manufacturer and is not willing to sell the data rights for the complex high frequency data capable radio assemblies. Procurement from any other source would result in an unacceptable high risk to the government and would jeopardize timely delivery of a satisfactory end product, currently estimated at sixteen months delay and the safety of troops on the ground in-theatre. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item; please do not submit requests. The point of contact for this action is Ms. Diane Bright, telephone +1 (555) 000-0000, e-mail: contact@example.gov (preferred method). Please reference the above solicitation number when responding to this notice.
