The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane intends to award a sole source Cost Plus Fixed Fee Job Order to Harris Corporation for the test, teardown, evaluation, and repair of Antenna Control Units. This procurement supports the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft and Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems programs. The order falls under Basic Ordering Agreement N00164-18-G-JV13, which has a total ceiling of 8 million dollars over a five year period. The government is restricting competition due to a lack of sufficient technical data and the potential for unacceptable delays and duplicative costs if other sources were used. The solicitation was issued directly to Harris Corporation with an anticipated award date in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019. Interested subcontractors are advised to contact the prime contractor directly, and all participating government contractors must maintain active registration in the System for Award Management.

The draft Job Order was issued directly to Harris Corporation, Inc. on 07 January 2019 SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane intends to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) type Job Order (JO) under sole source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00164-18-G-JV13 in support of PMA-290, Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) and PMA-262, Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PUMUAS).
