SOLE SOURCE NOTICE THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES This announcement constitutes a Notice of Proposed Contract Action for a non-competitive acquisition to be awarded by the 56th Contracting Squadron at Luke AFB, AZ to Allen Associates, INC., 7114 E EARLL DR., SCOTTSDALE AZ 85251-6315 The requirement is for the purchase of Trimble Surveying equipment . Trimble is the sole manufacturer of the product and Allen Associates, INC. is their only known authorized small business distributor in Arizona. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers; however, vendors that feel they can fulfill this requirement should notify the points of contact identified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses received is solely at the discretion of the Government and the Government will not reimburse any costs incurred as a result of the response. Information received will be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement under NAICS 334517 with a size standard of 500 employees.
