The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Mobile Satellite Section (DITCO-PL8221), Scott AFB, IL, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Iridium Communications, Inc., 1750 Tysons Boulevard, McLean, Virginia 22102-4208, for the acquisition of services to replace aging critical components and technology refresh of the EMSS Gateways. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform within 15 days of this notice.
