SOLE SOURCE NOTICE TO PURCHASE UPGRADE OF DOT HILL SYSTEMS' STORAGE SYSTEMS.

SOLE SOURCE NOTICE (DOT HILL SYSTEMS CORPORATION) This is a notice of intent to issue a contract to Dot Hill Systems Corporation, 1351 S. Sunset Street, Longmont, CO 80501-8533 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is to purchase maintenance and support for the Dot Hill Assured UVS storage system and the Dot Hill Assured SAN storage system. The two locations are the Defense Media Activity at Fort Meade, Maryland and the Defense Media Activity at Riverside, California. See attached Continuation Sheets and Sole Source Justification. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to perform by responding to this notice by the specified closing date. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all quotes received by the closing date specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
