N00164-14-D-GP77-P00002 --SOLE SOURCE-- PROCUREMENT OF HYDROPHONE RECEPTACLE CONNECTORS - FSC 5845 - NAICS 334419 Anticipated Issue Date 17 June 2016 - Anticipated Closing Date 18 July 2016 - 4:00 PM EST The Navy has a requirement for the procurement of a minimum of 50 Hydrophone Receptacle Connectors and a maximum of 400 in accordance with the amended Statement of Work and applicable drawings. A Solicitation will be issued pursuant to the procedures in FAR Part 15 for an anticipated FFP contract modification. Delivery Terms are F.O.B. Destination, Final Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division intends to execute a modification to existing Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract N00164-14-D-GP77 with Teledyne, One Chase Way, PO Box 159, Seabrook, NH 03874, CAGE Code: 17476, in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Contractors interested in responding with a valid quote may obtain information on registration in the SAM via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
