The scope of work includes the delivery of specialized hardware such as Electronic Support Measures (ESM) and Communications Intelligence (COMINT) equipment, Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), and spare parts, alongside technical assistance and Field Service Representative (FSR) support. The contract is estimated for award between June 2027 and June 2030 with a three-year period of performance. AI Contract Overview

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division is establishing a five-year sole source Basic Ordering Agreement with Harris Corporation for system support of the USQ-149. This agreement covers a wide range of requirements, including the procurement of Weapons Replaceable Assemblies, Shop Replaceable Assemblies, support equipment, and applicable software and firmware. The scope of work encompasses repair, maintenance, engineering support, research and development, training, and logistics services, with a total estimated value of approximately 8,000,000 dollars over the five-year period. The government has designated this as a sole source procurement due to a lack of sufficient technical data and the potential for unacceptable delays and duplicative costs if competed. The initial order under this agreement focuses on the procurement of specific lay-in spares, such as Pedestal Control Assemblies and DC-DC Converters, as well as the repair of TN-340 Tuners, Antenna Control Units, and MD-128 Demodulators. The agreement was anticipated for award in the third quarter of fiscal year 2018, with the first order following in the fourth quarter.
