This procurement is for the replacement of end-of-life VX900 and VX1800 VoIP gateways as part of the IT Repair & Replacement (ITRR) program for Global Affairs Canada (GAC). GAC currently uses Secure Terminal Equipment (STE) to support encrypted voice and data communications between facilities. These transmissions are routed through VX-series gateways — specifically the VX900 at remote locations and the VX1800 at Headquarters. These VX devices have reached end-of-life (EOL) and are no longer supported by the manufacturer, necessitating their replacement to maintain secure communication capabilities. Continued interoperability with STE is dependent on support for the V.150 protocol, which enables Secure Telephone Unit / Future Narrowband Digital Terminal (STU/FNBDT) functionality used in GAC’s legacy systems.Contracting Authority: Song PrakEmail: Song.prak@ssc-spc.gc.caSolicitation Closing- October 17th , 2025 at 3:00PM EST  SSC Solicitation BPM024583 Ribbon Communications or Equivalent RFQ - Amendment 001
