SOLICITATION - LABORATORY GRADE REFRIGERATORS

The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contract Office 4, is soliciting quotes for six two-door laboratory grade refrigerators for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. These units will be used to store microbiology, chemistry, and hematology reagents. The required equipment must be brand name or equal to the Thermo Fisher Scientific TSX5005GA, featuring glass swinging doors, a capacity of 54 to 58 cubic feet, a temperature range of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius with stability of +/- 3 degrees, and a minimum of 8 shelves. The use of natural refrigerants, specifically R290 hydrocarbon, is preferred.
