Solid Waste and Recycling Services

Houston Community College has issued a request for proposal for comprehensive solid waste and recycling services system-wide, encompassing the scheduled removal and disposal of solid waste as well as the collection and hauling of recyclable materials across all campus locations. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary resources including personnel, supervision, transportation, equipment, and consumables required to deliver these services efficiently and in compliance with operational standards. The solicitation, identified as RFP 26-21, was posted on July 30, 2026, with proposals due by August 31, 2026. Work will be performed across multiple sites in Texas under the oversight of the college’s procurement office, with Nikole Cruz serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries and submissions. Bidders are expected to demonstrate capacity for consistent, reliable service delivery throughout the college system with full accountability for all logistical and operational elements of the contract.
