Full Description
This is a sources sought notice issued with the intent of determining if there are commercially available programmable controllers capable of full functional interface with the existing Siemens brand equipment and associated Siemens designed software as detailed in attachment 2 – Technical Information. The attachment describes the required programmable building controller requirements FRCS for NAVSTA Rota. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. Ther will not be a specification or drawings made available.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Europe, Africa, Central (EURAFCENT) Naples, Italy has a requirement for programmable and interoperable Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) at Naval Station (NAVSTA) Rota, Spain and is considering development of a class J&A to permit continued standardization around Siemens brand equipment and associated Siemens designed software in order to enhance the cybersecurity posture IAW NAVFACINST 11000.2a. The programmable building controllers include, but are not limited to, network controllers and routers, digital controllers, zone controllers, VAV controllers, unitary and equipment controllers, and expansion modules.
