360 Degree Lidar Modules

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify capable vendors for the procurement of two 360-degree Lidar Modules as specified in the attached technical requirements. This sources sought notice is not a solicitation or request for quotation and does not obligate the government to award a contract. The purpose is to gather information from both small and large businesses to determine the appropriate acquisition path, including whether a small business set-aside is viable. If at least two qualified small businesses are identified that meet the specifications, the procurement will be set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334413, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees, and all categories including SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone, SDVOSB, and VOSB are eligible to respond. Interested parties must submit a capability statement of no more than five pages, including company profile details such as employee count, office locations, UEI, and CAGE code; the name of the provider and manufacturer along with the country of origin of the product; specification sheets and examples demonstrating compliance with the lidar module requirements; typical lead times for delivery, installation, and training; and verification of small business status. Additional relevant information may be included, but marketing materials or sales brochures will not be considered. Participation in this market research will not result in compensation, and the information provided will be used solely to inform future procurement decisions on sam.gov.
