The Department of Defense, through the DLA Aviation at Warner Robins, is conducting market research to identify qualified sources for the production of F15E Grip Assembly Left Hand and Right Hand Controllers. These pistol-grip style controllers serve as critical electrical interfaces in the F-15E sighting station, allowing operators to remotely actuate firing and sighting movements for various weapon systems, including machine guns, grenade launchers, and rocket launchers. Currently, Mason Electric Company is identified as the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source with the necessary technical data and capabilities, as the government does not possess the required drawings or schematics. Despite this, the government intends to procure these items through full and open competition. Interested parties must submit their capabilities and interest to the designated email address by December 3, 2026.
