The U.S. Government is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential firms capable of providing Hoof Trimming and Horseshoe Services (Farrier Services) under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a performance period of five years. The notice encourages both large and small businesses, including those in various socioeconomic categories such as 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Businesses, to submit information demonstrating their capabilities and experience. This effort aims to assess market availability and inform future acquisition strategies, but it does not constitute a solicitation or guarantee a contract. Interested firms are asked to provide details about their previous relevant work, business size, certifications, and pricing information, as well as suggestions for structuring the contract to promote competition, especially among small businesses. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 115210, Support Activities for Animal Production. Responses are due by August 15, 2025, and should be directed to the designated contracting officers. The government emphasizes that participation in this market research does not preclude future opportunities and that all responses will be used solely for market analysis purposes.
