Sources Sought Notice - Metrology-grade Chilled Mirror Dew Point Hygrometers

The Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is conducting market research through a Sources Sought Notice for Metrology-grade Chilled Mirror Dew Point Hygrometers under solicitation number NIST-SS26-137. This notice is not a solicitation and does not obligate NIST to issue a contract or make any payment; it is solely intended to gather information on available products, vendor capabilities, and market conditions to support future procurement planning. Respondents must provide detailed information on products meeting specific technical requirements, including benchtop chilled-mirror hygrometers capable of internal relative humidity calculation and an external temperature probe, with performance comparable to the RH Systems Dew Point Mirror 973 model. The standard dew point measurement range must cover -60°C to 20°C, with relative humidity ranging from 0.1% to 100%, and accompanied temperature measurements from -100°C to 100°C, achieving frost/dew point accuracy of ±0.1°C and temperature accuracy of ±0.07°C. Respondents must be registered with an active SAM.gov account and provide their Unique Entity ID, indicate whether they are a small business or other than small business, and disclose the country of manufacture for the proposed equipment. If not the manufacturer, they must confirm their status as an authorized reseller. Proprietary information must not be included. Respondents are required to provide published pricing, discount or rebate arrangements, delivery timelines, FOB shipping terms, warranty details, maintenance and training services, facility renovation capabilities, and any customization limits. They must also identify any aspects of the specifications that cannot be met and suggest improvements.
