This is a Sources Sought Notice issued solely for market research purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This notice is not a solicitation, Request for Quotations (RFQ), or Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government is not obligated to award a contract based on this notice and will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparing a response.


The Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office (AAO), is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing preventive maintenance services for Government-owned optometry equipment located at the Zuni Comprehensive Community Health Center (ZCCHC), Zuni, New Mexico.


The purpose of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified businesses and their socioeconomic status to assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition strategy.


Requirement Information-


Proposed NAICS Code: 811210 – Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance

Anticipated Contract:
One (1) twelve-month base period with four (4) one-year option periods.


Description of Requirement-


The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance services for Government-owned optometry equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).


Services include annual preventive maintenance inspections, calibration, cleaning, adjustment, testing, documentation, and reporting necessary to maintain equipment in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations or equivalent industry standards.


The equipment inventory and detailed performance requirements are contained in the attached Statement of Work.
