South Davis Road (SR14) Water and Sewer Relocations

The City of LaGrange is soliciting sealed bids for the South Davis Road (SR14) Water and Sewer Relocations project in Georgia. The scope of work involves the installation of water and gravity sewer infrastructure along the South Davis Road corridor, extending from south of Greenville Road (SR 109) to the intersection of South Davis Road and Hogansville Road (SR 14/US 29). Key deliverables include the installation of approximately 1,700 linear feet of 2-inch high density polyethylene pipe, 480 linear feet of 6-inch ductile iron pipe, and 880 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron pipe, along with new water meters, valves, and fire hydrants. Additionally, the contractor will install approximately 400 linear feet of 8-inch PVC or PVC-replaced sewer main, raise manholes to grade, and abandon existing sanitary sewer manholes. Bidders must possess a Georgia Utility Contractor License and comply with all state requirements. Submissions must be sealed and received at the Office of the Purchasing in LaGrange, Georgia, by 11:00 a.m. local time on November 5, 2026. Each bid must include a bid bond for five percent of the bid amount. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100 percent of the bid amount. Payments will be issued within 45 days of monthly applications for payment, which must be accompanied by an Engineer's Certificate for Payment.
