Full Description
The Work at South Fire entails: Renovation of the station’s men’s and women’s locker rooms, Renovation of the men’s and women’s public restrooms, renovations of the station’s kitchen and dining area. Replacement of flooring, replacement of ceiling tile in selected areas, selective interior painting, replacement of exterior windows and doors, replacement of apparatus -bay doors (3-functional and 1-fixed).

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING / SITE VISIT: A "MANDATORY" Pre-bid Meeting / Site Visit will be held at the Town of Palm Beach Fire Rescue Station #3 (South Fire) located at 2185 S Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach, FL 33480. Date/Time are specified in the "Events" section. Bids from firms who did not have a representative in attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-bid Meeting / Site Visit shall be deemed not responsive and shall not be considered for award.
AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal. The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis or on a line-by-line basis. Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.
RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION: Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.
