South Main Street Lift Station

The Ellijay Gilmer County Water and Sewage Authority is soliciting proposals for the construction of the South Main Street Lift Station in Georgia. The project requires a contractor to provide all labor and materials to install approximately 271 linear feet of 8 inch SDR 26 PVC gravity sewer, 55 linear feet of 2 inch SCH 80 PVC force main, and 60 linear feet of 2 inch PE force main. Additionally, the scope includes the installation of a packaged duplex lift station equipped with 2 HP pumps, along with all necessary valves, manholes, and other appurtenances as detailed in the construction plans. The total time allotted for the completion of the work is 120 consecutive calendar days. To be eligible for award, offerors must be licensed by the State of Georgia as a Utility Contractor and must complete the Qualifications of Bidder section. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier's check for at least 10 percent of the base bid amount. The successful contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the contract price, issued by a Georgia-licensed surety company with a minimum A rating of performance and financial strength at least five times the contract price.
